KVR Youth Cross Country
Ski Club

Ski Club 2024 is up and running!  We will not be having weekly lessons, but there will be one ski skills class offered in January, along with several guided skis on the Reserve.  Our instructors and staff will be available during those times to help guide kids, and help them learn to ski!

While we only have skis available for children (up to age 12), we encourage your whole family to get out and ski together.  Adult rentals are available from Bluedog Cycles in Viroqua, check out the rental drop down menu here:  https://www.bluedogcycles.com/rentals

With generous funding from The Birkie Foundation, the Friends of the KVR, and Organic Valley, the KVR has been able to purchase a small fleet of quality rental equipment.  Due to limited equipment sizes, registration will fill on a first-come-first-served basis.

FEE:  Ski equipment is available for a seasonal rental fee of $55/child (use & maintenance) payable to the Friends of the KVR.  For access to the skills class and the guided skis, the membership is $25/family. Payment is due at the time of equipment pickup, and can be made at the visitor center during business hours, or sent by mail.

REFUND POLICY:  Rental fees are non-refundable, but the membership will be refunded in the event that weather causes
