Identification

  • Sparrow sized with brown back and head
  • White underside, streaked breast
  • Yellow to greenish legs
  • 6" (15 cm.)

Habitat

  • Marsh and pond edges
  • Mudflats

Additional Information

  • KVR migrant Species
  • Sandpipers are known as "Peeps"
  • Winters as far south as Brazil
