Creative Communities Art Canvas Project 
January 2 - March 27, 2017
The Creative Communities Art Canvas Project is a community art project involving 350 artists of all ages and talents. Participants receive a 6-inch-by-6- inch art canvas to artistically interpret the following nature quote:
"Those who dwell among the beauties and mysteries of the earth are never alone or weary of life.” - Rachel Carson
Art canvases can be picked up at the KVR Visitor Center starting Monday, January 2, 2017 and must be returned to the KVR Visitor Center by February 25, 2017.

Creative Communities Art Canvas Exhibit Grand Opening
Friday, March 3, 2017
6:00 - 8:00 pm

The public is invited to the grand opening of the Creative Communities Art Canvas Exhibit from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the KVR Visitor Center.  The event will offer:

- hors d'oeuvres & beverages


Creative Communities Art Canvas Online Auction

March 6, 2017 - March 26, 2017

Canvases will be available thru online auction.  Auction opens at 8am on March 6, 2017 and closes on March 26, 2017 at 11:59pm. The event is sponsored by the Friends of the KVR with proceeds going to the KVR Education & Events Program.  The canvases will be exhibited at the KVR Visitor Center March 3-27, 2016.

Creative Communities Art Experience
Saturday, March 4, 2017
9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Come join us for a day of art exploration.  Attendees will meet four local artists, work with them and their mediums for 90 minutes each, and take home art projects.  Adults only, no experience required.  9:00 am - 4:00 pm.
