Ages 4-5: Kinder Camp

June 7-17, 2021   
9:00 am – 11:30 am
Mon/Wed or Tues/Thurs session

Twice a week for two weeks we’ll explore the natural world through discovery hikes, nature crafts and song.  Your child will experience nature with guided hands-on activities designed to engage their imagination and encourage their connection with nature. 
Fee: $70/child
Limit: 15 children/session
Registration Deadline:  May 21, 2021

Instructors:  Julia Buckingham (M/W camp) is currently the Lead Teacher for the Kickapoo Valley Forest School, a public   Forest School on site at the KVR. She has a background teaching environmental education to students of all ages. Julia holds a Primary (3-6 years old) Montessori certification from the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI). She enjoys teaching others about the wonderful living and non-living gems found at KVR. Ximena Puig (T/R camp) has a master's degree in early childhood education from Oberlin College and has taught grades   K-5. Right now she works as a mother and also as a curriculum writer and Leadership Team member for La Farge's new Kickapoo Valley Forest School.  She feels that giving children the opportunity to fall in love with the natural world is a gift not only to the children but to Mother Earth, too.
